My first experience with stop motion animation…

Posted in General nearsky Posts on July 20th, 2009 by Jeremy Karney

As an act of creativity (and part of an ongoing prank), and while trying to break out of a creative slump, I decided to mess around with a little stop motion animation.  Now, this is not oscar worthy, or anything I would even call professional looking, but I thought I would post it for fun.  I actually found it kind of relaxing, and fun.  I might play around with it some more next time I need a creative pick me up.

Tools used: Panasonic Lumix G1 & iMovie

Now for someone who is really doing cool things with stop motion animation here in San Antonio, check out:  http://www.youtube.com/fonsecaart

Welcome to the FINALLY redesigned NEW thenearsky.com

It has been a long time coming but I finally got around to redesigning the website.  The last design was a repurposed template that I purchased because I didn’t have the time to do it from scratch.  This one is still a work in progress but is much improved from what was there before.

In other news BOTH Jared Stephens and I have taken positions at UpperRoom technologies.  We are working on some really exciting projects (See one here:  http://www.groupsinteractive.com).

Check back soon for more details on the work we are doing both here and at UpperRoom technologies.
